Blue LECAMO reservoir with slide closure, hose and mouthpiece

Hydration Bladder Leaking? Locate the Wet Area First

Dry the outside of the reservoir and identify where fresh water first appears. A wet pack alone does not tell you whether the problem starts at the opening, a hose connection or the reservoir body.

Perform the initial inspection at home over a suitable surface with clean water. Follow the model's fill and closure instructions. If the reservoir cannot hold water normally, resolve the issue before relying on it for a route with limited refill access.

Separate leftover water from a continuing leak

Water spilled during filling can remain on the exterior. Dry the body, closure and visible hose connection, then repeat the maker's ordinary leak-check procedure. Watch the first area that becomes wet rather than moving immediately to a repair.

Do not deliberately overfill, pressurize or immerse the reservoir to investigate. Use the rated capacity and the handling instructions for the product you own.

Check the closure without forcing it

Open and reseal only as directed. Look for visible material preventing the normal closure, and clean the permitted areas using the care instructions. Do not pull a slider harder or tighten a cap beyond the maker's instructions.

If the closure is distorted, cracked or cannot be seated normally, document it and contact the maker. A general article cannot establish which part is replaceable on your exact model.

Inspect the visible connection and body

Follow any permitted connector seating check. Do not remove a sealed outlet or substitute another brand's part based on appearance. If flow has also changed, the reservoir drinking-path checklist helps you check the external drinking path.

Inspect the reservoir body without sharp tools. Note where the fresh moisture starts and whether nearby equipment could press against that area when packed. Do not apply glue, tape or heat as an unverified repair for drinking equipment.

Include the care history

Record what liquid was used, how the system was cleaned and whether any component was recently changed. Use the hydration gear cleaning guide for routine care, while keeping the exact model's product and disassembly limits.

Send the maker clear photos, the model identifier and the observation. Describe where water first appeared instead of simply reporting that the pack was wet. Do not include unnecessary personal information in a public troubleshooting post.

Recheck before returning to the trail

After an approved solution or replacement, repeat the normal fill, seal, flow and leak checks outside the pack. Then inspect again after repacking with your intended equipment.

For LECAMO gear, use exact-model support for component questions. A successful exterior check is useful preparation, but it does not establish a permanent leak guarantee.
