Review Custom Running Vest Artwork Before Production

A custom running vest artwork proof should show exactly what has been approved for the selected model. Review the files, placement and version history before authorizing the next production step. A logo that looks correct on a screen is only one part of that review.

This is a buyer's suggested approval workflow. The supplier's actual quotation, sample process and agreed specifications control the order. It does not establish that LECAMO offers every decoration method, placement or customization shown in another supplier's catalog.

Name the model and proof version

Put the chosen vest model and artwork version on the review sheet. Use a consistent file name so the club, designer and supplier know which document is current. Keep superseded versions out of the final approval folder without deleting the audit trail you need.

Confirm that everyone is viewing the same model and selected option. A drawing of one vest should not silently become the approval for another design with different pockets, seams or closures.

Check the supplied logo file

Confirm the wording, spelling, orientation and ownership or permission to use the artwork. Open the actual file supplied to the vendor, not just a compressed preview in a chat. Ask the supplier for its file-format and production requirements rather than inventing a required resolution or file type.

If the club has an approved logo version, compare the proof directly with it. Mark any discrepancy on the document. Avoid using “looks fine” as the entire record when text or placement still needs a decision.

Review placement against the pack

Look at front, rear and side views where relevant. Check proposed decoration against pocket openings, zip paths, straps and normal adjustments. A logo should not be approved solely from a flat rectangle that omits the surrounding pack features.

Proof field Question for approval
Model Is this the exact selected design?
Text and logo Does the supplied file match the authorized version?
Placement Is its position clear relative to pack features?
Color What reference or sample process is agreed?
Revision Is this the latest document everyone has reviewed?

A digital color display is not sufficient evidence of the final physical appearance. Agree how color and placement will be evaluated if those details matter to acceptance.

Connect the proof to the sample process

Use custom gear production checklist to organize the wider brief and production checkpoints. Where a physical sample is agreed, specify which questions it must answer and who records the approval. Do not treat a visual proof as a complete fit, durability or component-function test.

Close the approval clearly

Record approved elements, unresolved questions and the requested next step in one place. Send a revised file when a change is required, then review the returned version. Avoid authorizing production while simultaneously describing changes that have not appeared in the proof.

Keep the final approved document with the quotation and agreed sample record. For a LECAMO inquiry, begin with the actual model, intended quantity and permitted artwork, then request model-specific feasibility. A traceable approval helps both parties understand the request without inventing a promise about the finished order.

Artwork approval belongs alongside the product specification. Use the backpack tech pack guide to record dimensions and components, then evaluate the complete load with the sample fit and function checklist.
